How do I volunteer for the Red Cross in the wake of a disaster?
While we welcome the support of the community and encourage people to contact us in the wake of a disaster, we highly recommend that members of the community get trained to become part of our Disaster Action Teams. These teams consist of local volunteers who are trained free of charge by the Red Cross in the skills necessary to respond to disaster. If you want a rewarding volunteer experience that will allow you to help those affected by disaster, call us at 1-800-ARC-MONT and ask for the volunteer coordinator. You can also email us. Click here to be directed to the Volunteer page.
Are Red Cross Disaster Response services free?
